PTP 300MOTOROLA has released a wireless Ethernet bridge which is said to provide companies with carrier class connectivity.
The company says the PTP 300 can be used in challenging environments such as urban areas, hills, over water and desert terrain.
According to the developer, the device can cover a line-of-sight distance of up to 248km. It also offers near-line-of-sight and non-line-of-sight ranges up to 40 and ten kilometres respectively.
The business claims the unit operates in the 5.4 and 5.8GHz bands and can transfer data at rates up to 25Mbps.
Technicians can use the PTP LINKPlanner radio frequency (RF) planning tool to determine link viability in challenging environments prior to purchase.
