ADVANCED Robotic Technologies has won the Advanced Manufacturing Innovator of the Year award from the Australian Manufacturing Technology Institute (AMTIL) for it automated profiling machine.
The SMART Plasma Profile Cutter was recognised at a gala dinner on 2 October 2008, at the Hilton Hotel in Melbourne.
The company says the profiler was designed for low cost operations and features a touch screen user interface, profiling software and compatibility with a number of CAD programs like AutoCAD and DesignCAD.
The machine is fitted with servo motors which provide a traverse speed of over 24m per minute. It comes in a powder coated chassis and gantry.
