Hanel installs automatic manufacturing for industrial storage machines

HANEL says its new production facility in Germany incorporates ultra-modern automated manufacturing of all its industrial storage machines.

According to Hanel, the facility has an automated storage retrieval system for its sheet metal parts where un-worked metal sheets and sub-assemblies are fed automatically to the processing centres and returned to buffer storage.

Hanel claims punching and laser work is then carried out by TRUMPF TruMatic and TruPunch machines with automatic loading systems feeding the machines.

Bending machines with robot technology and state of the art welding procedures then produce Hanel’s storage containers.
