KRAUSS Maffei has installed a KraussMaffei MX 4000-24500 moulding injection machine in Ford’s manufacturing plant in Germany, where it is producing bumpers for passenger cars.
According to Krauss Maffei, the KraussMaffei MX 4000-24500 is fitted with a multi axis industrial robot with a payload of 100kg and working range of 3,900mm. The robot places the plastic parts on a 2-belt conveyor where they are buffered for the 30 minute cooling period.
The complete package includes the safety housing, platforms and ladders which allow maintenance access to the injection unit and clamp.
Krauss Maffei manufactures Injection Moulding machines, Extruders and Ancillary equipment. It is represented in Oceania by HBM Plastics Technologies.
