MACHINERY Automation and Robotics (MAR) has announced the purchase of Automation Consultants and Technical Services (ACTS), which has been effective since 19 October 2009.
According to MAR, it will use the combined strengths of both companies to provide clients with increased service in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
MAR says all existing ACTS management and staff have been retained and the business will continue operations from the existing building in Tullamarine. It will now trade as Machinery Automation and Robotics.
MAR was established in 1987 and provides automation and robotics solutions.
ACTS was an integration company for robotic automation, machine vision and plant automation.
