Rockwell Automation hosts education forum for industrial industries

ROCKWELL Automation hosted its 10th annual RSTechED educational forum in October 2009, which focused on manufacturing and IT convergence, sustainability and operational excellence.

Rockwell Automation says attendees included Australian and New Zealand industrial companies, OEMs and system integrators.

The company claims 33 different labs and presentations were delivered at RSTechED to over 250 people.

Topics included FactoryTalk VantagePoint, a business intelligence and reporting tool for manufacturing and FactoryTalk Historian Machine Edition, the world’s first in-chassis historian, which collects data directly from the backplane of the controller
