Rockwell showcase control and automation solutions at New Product Pavilion

ROCKWELL Automation says its upcoming On Tour ’09 industry road shows will incorporate a New Product Pavilion, in which several products, such as the Allen-Bradley MicroLogix 1400 controller, will be showcased.

Rockwell Automation says the New Product Pavilion will be a key part of the event’s trade show section, which will provide a “sneak preview” of several new products before their release.

The New Product Pavilion will also comprise multiple displays of Rockwell Automation’s suite of ‘Integrated Architecture’ industrial control and automation solutions.

According to Rockwell Automation, one new product line on show will be the 440P limit-switch family. The units feature positive opening-action contacts, making them ideal for both safety- and standard-sensing applications.

Rockwell Automation will also showcase several recently-released products, including the Allen-Bradley Stratix 8000 managed Ethernet switch and the MicroLogix 1400 controller.

The Allen-Bradley Stratix 8000 managed industrial Ethernet switches have been developed for use in manufacturing environments, allowing users to easily set-up, program and manage their switching applications.

The MicroLogix 1400 programmable controllers are targeted at applications which require advanced communications, motion-control capability and a high I/O capacity.
