ROCKWELL Automation has released a software package for manufacturers to keep track of process data from control systems and networked devices.
The FactoryTalk Historian Site Edition allows operators to review historic data from the plant operations and monitor the automated process.
The company says the software is an incorporation of information technology and process control systems. It automatically scans and detects any new devices added to the plant’s network.
The developer says the system will allow the operators to compare current automation levels to previous data and set KPIs.
