MITSUBISHI Electric has released a computer numerical control (CNC) system at the 2008 International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) in Chicago.
The M70 Series CNC can control up to 11 axes and up to four contouring axes simultaneously.
The company says the unit’s ten nanometre interpolation allows it to achieve speeds up to 33,000 executed blocks per minute with high accuracy.
The device is equipped with the Navi-Mill and Navi-Lathe programming features, a PCMCIA interface as well as Base-T Ethernet.
