STAUBLI Robotics has released a material handling robot with the capacity for heavy payloads.
The RX200 can handle between 100 and 130kg at speeds of 12.5m per second. The long-reach version, the RX200L, has a maximum reach of 2594mm.
The company says the units are suitable for industrial and cleanroom applications like palletising, pick-and-place and loading and unloading.
The units are equipped with the manufacturer’s own CS8 controller, said to be the most advanced of its kind. It uses VAL3 programming language and is compatible with Fieldbus, Ethernet and Modbus protocols.
