ABB has expanded the design of its pick-and-place robots for use in solar cell manufacturing plants.
The FlexPicker 360 will be available in the ‘System Solar’ model in Australia from December 2008.
The solution also includes the IRC5 control unit, the FlexPendant conveyor system and the PickMaster management software.
The technology was unveiled at the Munich Intersolar exhibition, held between 12 and 14 June 2008.
