ROBOTIC Automation has announced the distribution of Motoman’s 4 axis MPK50 robot with DX100 controller, which it claims has been designed for a variety of packaging applications.
According to Robotic Automation, the MPK50 robot features a 50kg payload and 360 degree work envelope.
The robot is said to offer a slim manipulator design to allow it to reach into confined spaces, reducing cycle time and improving system productivity.
The MPK50 robot is floor mounted and has a 1,668mm vertical reach, 1,997mm horizontal reach and ±0.5mm repeatability.
Robotic Automation says Motoman’s DX100 controller performs multiple tasks and controls up to eight robots, I/O devices and communication protocols.
