ROCKWELL Automation has released the Logix-XT product line, designed for high-temperature and corrosive environments.
The Rockwell Automation Logix-XT family includes the Logix-XT controller, the Allen-Bradley FLEX I/O-XT products and the ProSoft Technology communication modules. They work within a temperature spectrum of -20 to 70 degrees Celsius.
According to Rockwell Automation, Logix-XT products are coated and designed using hardened components suited for rugged environments. They also do not require auxiliary heating and cooling systems, simplifying installation and reducing energy costs.
Rockwell Automation says the Logix-XT product line is part of the Integrated Architecture system, which uses the same programming software, network protocol and information capabilities as the other products in the system.
