ROCKWELL AUTOMATION has released a new mechatronic solutions portfolio, which consists of software tools, motion control products and support.
Rockwell Automation claims the mechatronic solutions portfolio will help engineers to better collaborate and reduce machine costs and development time.
The company says this will be achieved by providing a common forum where design input from mechanical, controls, software and electrical engineers can be easily gathered and evaluated.
The new mechatronic solutions portfolio offers updated Motion Analyser software which is compatible with SolidWorks 3D CAD software. It also has the MP-Series integrated linear stages which are said to simplify machine design and are suited for a variety of applications which require loads to be supported and moved with precise linear positioning and velocity control.
