ST Robotics has launched the R12-500, a system featuring an industrial robot arm suitable for machine feeding and testing.
ST Robotics says the five-axis R12-500 has been dubbed the ‘Firefly’ bench-top robot and has a 500mm reach.
The company claims the R12-500’s high intelligence can handle complex tasks, while its simple interface allows for easy adaptation to any application.
The R12-500 also has the new Mk5 controller, RoboForth 11 software, teach pad and simple interfacing.
ST Robotics says other options include pneumatic, electric and vacuum grippers and expandable I/O.
